Four New Chapters of Dynamite's Savage Tales Coming in September

August 30, 2007, Runnemede, NJ - DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT released images and information announcing the fourth issue of the all-new Savage Tales, a new series featuring a rotating cast of characters in some of the most savage and brutal comic stories ever told. Savage Tales #4 is scheduled for a September release with covers by David Michael Beck and Stjepan Sejic.

Savage Tales #4 unleashes four all new stories beginning with the debut of a two-part Red Sonja tale from Death Dealer writer Joshua Ortega and artist Walter Geovanni! It's a Savage Sonja tale you won't find anywhere else! Doug (The ‘Nam) Murray's "Sellsword" storyline begins in issue four; with art by Diego Bernard, "Sellsword" is the tale of a mysterious stranger who rides into town and sets two families at each other's throats, but with a twist you won't see coming!

Plus, look for "The Art of War" by writer Brandon Jerwa and artist Joe Prado. And finally, from the creative team that brought you "The Elder Things That Fell to Earth" story featured in the first three issues of Savage Tales, writer Mike (Zombie) Raicht and artist Pere Perez present the first installment of "The Ripper", a shocking tale of brutal murder among the royal court of a most mysterious land!

Savage Tales will ship six times a year and has showcased storytelling talents such as Ron Marz, Leah Moore, John Reppion and Michael Avon-Oeming, along with artists such as Pablo Marcos, Kevin Sharpe, Pere Perez, Stjepan Sejic, Adriano Batista and more. The "Tales" themselves will showcase trials of familiar Dynamite characters like Red Sonja while expanding on other supporting characters such as The Hunter from Dynamite's Red Sonja ongoing series. Past issues have presented all new stories starring the Old God Cthulhu and accounts from the lost city of Atlantis!

"The anthology comic is back with a vengeance!  'Savage Tales' is smart, grim, gritty, fun, and easily accessable to readers new to the characters and concepts.  Everyone should be reading this."   - Andrew Czekalski, Stormwatch Comics.
