August 07, 2007, Runnemede, NJ - DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT has announced that the terrifying new zombie series Raise the Dead has been collected into an impressive hardcover edition and will feature a foreword by zombie authority, Max Brooks, the author of The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z.

Dynamite's Raise the Dead series is written by Leah Moore and John Reppion, with art by Dynamite's latest up and coming artistic sensation Hugo Petrus, and features covers by Sean Phillips and Arthur Suydam-both of Marvel Zombies and Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness fame! Scheduled for an October release, the hardcover edition collects Raise the Dead #1 through #4 and features a gruesome cover with a "zombified" pop culture classic by Arthur Suydam. Additionally, fans of master zombie painter Arthur Suydam should ask their local comic retailer about the special signed edition with the signature of Arthur Suydam himself!

In Raise the Dead, co-writers Leah Moore and John Reppion have designed a tale of survival and terror in a world being overrun by the walking dead. The oversized hardcover edition contains over 120 pages of story and amazing behind the scenes bonus material, including an introduction by Max (Zombie Survival Guide, World War Z) Brooks, an interview with the Raise the Dead writers, a Hugo Petrus sketch and concept pages, a complete cover gallery featuring the work of Sean Phillips and Arthur Suydam and the complete script to issue #1!
