Jade Hope Draws Vampirella for Birthday Celebration!
New Gem Mint Collectibles Exclusive Available Now

September 13, Mt. Laurel, NJ:
Dynamite and Gem Mint Collectibles are teaming up again for an exclusive limited-edition comic featuring the iconic first lady of horror, Vampirella. This new Indiegogo campaign features the new Vampirella: Year One #1 written by the legendary Christopher Priest and drawn by the amazingly talented Ergün Gündüz and Giovanni Timpano. But this version of the much-sought-after comic features an exclusive cover by up-and-coming artist Jade Hope in celebration of her birthday too! Collectors can get their copy right now.

This is the second exclusive cover for the teenaged Jade Hope, whose art previously appeared on the limited-edition cover for Invincible Red Sonja #1. Hope is from South Florida and has been drawing since early childhood, working with both traditional methods and digital, providing pencils, inks, and colors. Her newest work is an homage to legendary Spider-Man artist Mark Bagley and features Vampirella, Draculina, Dracula and more, but is only available through this campaign.

Following the explosive conclusion to Vampirella/Dracula: Unholy comes the next chapter in Christopher Priest's Vampirella saga! Vampirella: Year One takes us back to the early days of the character. Wanted for murder, and with every demon, shaman, vampire, whack-job zealot, reporter, and law enforcement officer on Earth hunting for her, Vampirella has taken refuge in an undisclosed location where she questions why she came to our world in the first place. The story explores the exotic world of Drakulon, the pressures that cause Vampirella to leave, and her first days on Earth, arriving on the day of the Apollo moon landing in 1969. Lost, alone, unable to speak or read our language, Vampirella makes her first friends (Pantha, Pendragon) and runs afoul of new enemies in this multifaceted period piece that revisits the world of the original 1970s Warren stories!

Gem Mint Collectibles is the preeminent voice and platform on YouTube and beyond for comics collecting. His expertise ranges from deluxe graphic novel collections, to hulking jaw-dropping statues, and more. Soon to be 150,000 subscribers tune into his content with regularity to hear the latest news, reviews, overviews, and connect with the community.

Over on Indiegogo, fans of Vampirella, Dynamite, Gem Mint Collectibles, and the quickly growing fanbase of Jade Hope can pick up the comic in a number of variations to their liking. It's available with traditional trade dress, a logo-free edition, as well as a version that features just Vampirella. A combo sweetens the deal for completists. While those looking to have a more personalized touch or preserve this gem can pick signed or CGC graded options.
