Local Comic Shop Day® Broadcast
“Giant-Sized Super Cast” Will Span Entirety of Local Comic Shop Day

August 5, Mt. Laurel, NJ: The EXP and ComicsPRO – the trade organization for local comic shops - are pleased to announce their collaboration on a Local Comic Shop Day® broadcast called “Giant-Sized Super Cast”. The broadcast will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025 - Local Comic Shop Day® - and will highlight and promote the publishers, creators, customers, and local comic shops participating in LCSD.
The “Giant-Sized Super Cast” which will air exclusively on The EXP broadcast channels, is planned to begin before shops open on the East Coast and end as shops close on the West Coast - a minimum of 18 hours. Incorporating interviews, panels, discussions, virtual store tours, and live drop-ins to participating shops, the “Giant- Sized Super Cast” will be available for free to stream to anyone with access to one of the platforms The EXP uses (Facebook, YouTube, Twitch and Instagram).
“The EXP has always had a shared purpose with ComicsPRO, to promote and strengthen the local comic shop, while providing a local comic shop like experience to those who don’t have access to a shop in their community. By joining together, we hope to connect customers to shops they may not have heard of and shops to customers who may never have an opportunity to visit in person,” said Kyle Northrop, Executive Producer at the EXP.

"The Experience, with its livestream of comic themed programming, will help us spread the message that the local comic shop is a cultural hub – where creativity thrives, friendships are formed, and stories come to life.”
