May 10 Mt. Laurel, NJ: Dynamite's two biggest franchises swing into the NFT realm via Terra Virtua this week with releases for Vampirella and Red Sonja available now.
Vampirella Strikes continues the nearly 30 years and counting contributions from fan-favorite writer Tom Sniegoski on the character. Following his return to Vengeance of Vampirella and a post-apocalyptic take on the heroine risen from the grave, society is slowly reforming and establishing at least some form of normalcy. Well, as normal as it can get when monsters live among men. Vampi finds herself working for a new form of the Danse Macabre, carrying out missions in this all new landscape.
International superstar creator Mirka Andolfo has been spearheading the new era of Red Sonja comics for some time now. In her kickoff, she introduced the brand new character of Sitha. The young girl has a similar tragic backstory as the She-Devil With a Sword, who then took Sitha under her wing. Now in her breakout solo series set years later, readers will see what lessons Sitha learned from her adoptive mother and how she survives and thrives in the hostile world of the Hyborian Age.
