DYNAMITE LAUNCHES NEW VAMPIRELLA SERIES AT
25-CENT INTRODUCTORY PRICE

Paul Cornell and Jimmy Broxton Series Accessible To All Fans

December 8, 2016, Mt. Laurel, NJ: Next year will see Vampirella heading in a new and very different direction! Vampirella was last spotted in 2016 doing what she does best - defending the world from threats both mystic and evil... but she has not been seen since. Vampirella #0 will answer the questions behind her disappearance! The debut issue retails at 25-cents to allow for fans to read at an introductory price and retailers to confidently stock copies on the shelves. Retailers are also able to qualify for Incentive copies by Joseph Michael Linsner and J. Scott Campbell.

Over a thousand years since she vanished, Vampirella's poised to make her fateful return, but the world that awaits her is unlike anything she might expect - or want to defend! Written by acclaimed comics, novel, and television writer Paul Cornell (Action Comics, Doctor Who) and illustrated by the masterful Jimmy Broxton (Goldtiger, Knight & Squire), it's the start of an adventure for Vampirella unlike any she's had in her long and storied history. Don't miss the train before it leaves the station!

"I'm delighted to be writing a Vampirella that takes onboard everything she's been and moves it forward into a new setting, where the gothic meets science fiction," says writer Paul Cornell. "I'm also delighted to be working again with my old friends, the incredibly talented artist Jimmy Broxton, and the incredibly talented editor, Matt Idelson. There's a lyrical, Modesty Blaise feel to Jimmy's art on this. I'm hoping especially to find a female audience. The character's often been regarded as a nostalgia item, cheesecake, and we're building on previous efforts to keep moving away from that to something more interesting. I'm excited to be building a whole new world, I'm loving what Jimmy's art is doing (Barbarella! Hepburn!), and I hope that excitement communicates itself to the reader."

"We wanted to give fans and retailers a low-cost entry into the queen of monster hunters, and this introductory-priced issue allows them to stock up and minimize their risk to a great new series," says Dynamite CEO and publisher, Nick Barrucci. "We have been fortunate to work with so many of the industry's best talents on Vampirella; Paul coming on board to write is another high watermark, and Jimmy's art complements his scripts beautifully. Their take on the character is both fresh and classic, and is sure to please longtime fans and first-time readers alike!"

"This new series definitely harkens back to the earliest days of the character in a lot of ways, while firmly taking Vampirella very, very far forward," says Senior Editor Matt Idelson. "I think this is really going to appeal to both longtime fans of Vampi and those folks who've never before given her stories a try. I'm definitely proud to be a part of this."

Paul Cornell is an English writer of novels, comic books and television, perhaps best known for his work on Doctor Who, dating back to 1990. Since that time, Cornell has written over ten Doctor Who novels, as well as multiple series for both DC and Marvel, as well as the widely celebrated Vertigo series, Saucer Country.

Vampirella is a raven-haired heroine who remains, even after 45 years of publication, one of the comic industry's most well known characters, due in no small part to Dynamite Entertainment. Since Vampirella's very healthy resurgence in 2010, Dynamite has published three volumes of a monthly series, several miniseries and one-shot specials, and crossovers with multimedia brands and comic book peers. The Vampirella franchise is a haven for writers and artists with a penchant for the macabre.

Vampirella #0 will retail for the low introductory price of $.25, and will be solicited in Diamond Comic Distributors' December 2016 Previews catalog, the premier source of merchandise for the comic book specialty market, and slated for release in February 2017. Comic book fans are encouraged to reserve copies with their local comic book retailers. Vampirella will also be available for individual customer purchase through digital platforms courtesy of Comixology, Dynamite Digital, iVerse, and Dark Horse Digital.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: NEW YORK COMIC-CON ANNOUNCEMENT

DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES LICENSE WITH CBS CONSUMER
PRODUCTS TO REVIVE EVERGREEN TELEVISION PROPERTIES

Mighty Mouse and Charmed to Return in All-New Comic Book Series for 2017

October 5, 2016, Mt. Laurel, NJ: Dynamite Entertainment and CBS Consumer Products announced today a new license agreement for two classic properties from the rich history of television: the animated legend Mighty Mouse, and the hit 90's series Charmed!

Mighty Mouse returns to comics for the first time in 30 years, just in time for the character's 75th anniversary in 2017! Mighty Mouse was first conceived in 1942 as a parody of another cape and cowl hero introduced a few years earlier, and went on to star in countless animated films for the better part of the next 20 years, finding a new life on Saturday mornings in the 1960's.

"Mighty Mouse is as much a part of American pop culture as the two characters he is inspired by," says Nick Barrucci, Dynamite CEO and publisher. "The original comics and animation entertained generations of fans, and with the popularity of superhero movies, there couldn't be a better time for his return! I am thrilled that Dynamite will be able to bring this timeless hero to a whole new generation of fans."

Charmed premiered critical acclaim and commercial success, and by the end of its eight-season run, had won numerous awards and aired in more than 20 countries. Charmed follows the Halliwell sisters: three witches, each powerful in her own right, but invincible when they come together to summon The Power of Three. Protecting innocents from the underworld's demons, the Halliwell sisters battle evil from their family home in San Francisco.

"Charmed is a perfect fit for Dynamite for a number of reasons," says Dynamite CEO and publisher Nick Barrucci. "We have had tremendous success with cult television properties, and the Halliwell sisters will be right at home. Our plans for these new series are sure to please comics readers and die-hard TV junkies alike!"

Details on Dynamite's upcoming Mighty Mouse and Charmed publishing programs will be released in the coming months.

BETTIE PAGE RETURNS TO COMICS FROM DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT!
The Legendary "Queen of Pinups" will Grace the
Printed Comic Page for the First Time in 20 Years!

October 5, 2016, Mt. Laurel, NJ: The coming year will see the return of another female icon, one whose jet black bangs haven't graced the pages of comics in far too long: Bettie Page! This marks only the second time in history that Ms. Page has appeared in officially licensed comic books, following the short-lived series Bettie Page Comics in 1996-97.

The Pinup Queen has certainly long been a staple in the comic book world, dating back to the 1980's when Dave Stevens based the Rocketeer's girlfriend "Betty" off of the iconic leading lady. Subsequently, Ms. Page was seen in the anthology series from Black Cat Comics, a limited pinup series, and lastly in Dark Horse's Bettie Page Comics written and illustrated by Jim Silke.

"Bettie Page set the world on fire in the 1950s, and her influence still burns throughout American culture today!" says Dynamite CEO and Publisher, Nick Barrucci. "Think about the vintage fashion craze, those instantly recognizable and ever-popular bangs, the pinup queen tattoos that are so playfully taboo! In our own industry, Bettie's striking look and wild spirit has taken shape in the pages of Rocketeer, in Watchmen, in the artwork of Joe Shuster, in the Batman villainess Poison Ivy, in DC Bombshells. We're proud to contribute to the enduring legacy of one of the 20th century's most unforgettable performers, and can't wait to deliver new four-color adventures to her loyal fans."

Dynamite Entertainment will continue to roll out news on their upcoming Bettie Page publishing program, as well as additional licensed merchandise categories, in the coming months.

BILL WILLINGHAM AND ARTIST CEZAR REZAK TAKE THE CHARACTERS OF
EDGAR RICE BURROUGHS ON THEIR GREATEST ADVENTURE!

Creators Tell the Most Ambitious ERB Adventure to Date!

October 5, 2016, Mt. Laurel, NJ: Comics luminary Bill Willingham (Fables, Legenderry) dips his toes and his pen into the rich world of Edgar Rice Burroughs with news of an all-new limited series featuring Tarzan, Korak, James Carter, Dejah Thoris, and more: The Greatest Adventure! Previous Warlord of Mars artist Cezar Rezak joins Willingham on the planet-hopping series grand enough to have come from the mind of Burroughs himself!

A crash landing reveals a secret plot by a mysterious cabal of scientists to weaponize Jason Gridley's famous wave, turning it into a disintegration ray that can bypass distance, on a galactic scale, to destroy a single person, or even an entire world at a time. Gridley seeks the help of Tarzan and Jane to stop these villainous adventurers from finding the final piece needed to fulfill their devious end. When Tarzan puts the word out to assemble a crew to man Jason Gridley's Martian Flying Ship, the galaxy's greatest fighters and adventurers come together to stop this evil plan.

"Here we are with my chance, at long last, to play in the very fields that Burroughs created, and to marry my two loves of comic book and prose fiction in doing it," says Bill Willingham. "One comic series couldn't possibly contain everything I've loved and discovered in his books. The Greatest Adventure contains everything I love that I could fit into a single series, including his most popular characters, as well as many obscure ones, which are nevertheless beloved to me."

"Bill Willingham is a master of weaving together characters to tell a masterful story, pulling together multiple worlds and timelines," says Dynamite CEO and publisher, Nick Barrucci. "To have him tackle John Carter and the other characters of literary master Edgar Rice Burroughs with the help of Cezar Rezak is truly a matchup that every comics fan should be as excited to read as I am! This truly may be the ‘Greatest Adventure' yet!"

Bill Willingham is the American writer whose career can be traced back to the 1980's breakout series Elementals, and has since included notable work for DC's Vertigo imprint, including a 13-year run on the critically acclaimed Fables, bringing together notable characters from fairytales and folklore. Willingham's previous work for Dynamite includes the steampunk crossover, Legenderry, featuring some of the company's most well-known characters.

Cezar Rezak has drawn multiple series for Dynamite, including Battlestar Galactica, Warlord of Mars, and Dejah Thoris.

The Greatest Adventure will premier in 2017, with further details to be announced in the coming months.

DYNAMITE SIGNS BENJAMIN PERCY TO WRITE BOND SERIES!

NOVELIST AND GREEN ARROW WRITER TO SCRIPT
ALL-NEW ONGOING SERIES IN 2017!

October 5, 2016, Mt. Laurel, NJ: A year after Dynamite's James Bond series launched in record numbers, the publisher announces that Benjamin Percy - author of DC's Rebirth: Green Arrow and Teen Titans, as well as the acclaimed novels Red Moon, The Wilding, and more - will be taking the reins of an all-new 007 ongoing series in 2017!

In 2014, Dynamite Entertainment made headlines across the comics industry and beyond with the news that the New Jersey publisher had secured the license from Ian Fleming Publications Ltd to produce the first James Bond comics in 20 years. The first series, written by Transmetropolitan writer Warren Ellis, launched the following year to widespread critical acclaim, and was a breakout success in the comics specialty market.

Benjamin Percy says, "When I was a kid, my father and I would watch -- over and over again -- the Bond marathons on TBS. When I was in high school, I took a career test and wrote 'spy' as my dream job. When I was in college, I signed up for an espionage novel course and fell in love with Fleming's books. The first drink I ordered was a vodka martini -- shaken, not stirred -- though I now stay true to the novels and favor bourbon. And over the past few months, I've followed the Warren Ellis run at Dynamite with admiration and jealousy. Bond is ingrained in me, a character who has centrally influenced my life and sense of story. I love the legendary, exquisitely cool 007 franchise and I couldn't be more excited to thrill readers with exotic locales, nifty gadgets, colorful villains, dangerous seductions, and wildly orchestrated action set-pieces. Cue the theme music."

"Ben Percy is an immense talent, one of the great thriller writers of this decade, and I can't wait to see him write the future assignments of 007," says current James Bond writer and comics legend, Warren Ellis.

"As we continue to expand our James Bond publishing program with miniseries and graphic novels, the stakes were high for choosing the next architect for our ongoing series," says Dynamite CEO and publisher Nick Barrucci. "Benjamin Percy's name was at the top of our list, and to be able to follow up Warren's incredible inaugural run with a writer of his caliber, who can make the series his own, is the best of all worlds!"

"Ben's got what it takes to follow in Warren's massive footsteps, and we think fans are going to love what he has planned," says Dynamite Editorial Director, Joseph Rybandt. "By creating a new series for Ben, we're also opening up the door for anyone that hasn't yet checked out our Bond comics."

Benjamin Percy is a novelist, screenwriter and comics writer. He is the author of four novels -- The Dark Net, The Dead Lands, Red Moon, and The Wilding -- as well as two books of short stories, Refresh, Refresh and The Language of Elk. He writes the Green Arrow and Teen Titans series for DC Comics, and his fiction and nonfiction have been published in Esquire (where he was a contributing editor for ten years), GQ, Time, Men's Journal, Outside, The Wall Street Journal, Tin House, Ploughshares, Glimmer Train, McSweeney's, and The Paris Review. His honors include an NEA fellowship, the Whiting Writer's Award, the Plimpton Prize, two Pushcart Prizes and inclusion in Best American Short Stories and Best American Comics. His novel Red Moon is currently in development as a TV series at FOX.

Look for news on Benjamin Percy's 007 debut in the coming months. In the meantime, fans can enjoy the new James Bond: Hammerhead miniseries from Andy Diggle, beginning in November.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT TAPS PAUL CORNELL
FOR NEW VAMPIRELLA SERIES

Series Launches in February 2017 with Special $0.25 Introductory-Priced Issue!

October 4, 2016, Mt. Laurel, NJ: As the buzz builds for New York Comic-Con, and just in time for Halloween, Dynamite Entertainment announces that comics and television veteran Paul Cornell will write an all-new series starring Dynamite's queen of the monster hunters herself, Vampirella!

"Paul's writing is tremendous, and we have been hoping to work with him on Vampirella for quite some time now," says Dynamite CEO and Publisher, Nick Barrucci. "While Paul's series is written in the classic style of the character, his take feels every bit as fresh as our 2016 relaunch. This new series is sure to be applauded by new readers and longtime fans alike!"

"I'm supremely jazzed to have the chance to work on Vampirella, a character with an incredibly rich history and a touchstone still for many readers today," says Matt Idelson, Senior Editor. "Reuniting with Paul is always a total pleasure, and what he and artist Jimmy Broxton have cooked up speaks very much to all that's great about the character, yet will come as a totally unexpected, wonderful surprise. I think this is going to greatly appeal to both longtime and new readers alike."

Look for upcoming announcements on release date, art team and more in the coming months.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: NEW YORK COMIC CON ANNOUNCEMENT

DYNAMITE TO PUBLISH FIRST ART COLLECTION OF
INSTAGRAM CELEBRITY AND TOY PHOTOGRAPHER JOHNNY WU,
BETTER KNOWN AS SGT. BANANAS!

10 Frames Per Second: An Articulated Adventure Hits in 2017!

October 4, 2016, Mt. Laurel, NJ: Dynamite Entertainment expands its growing line of deluxe art books beyond comics and video games, but with firm roots in fandom, with the collection Instagram sensation, Johnny Wu (Sgt. Bananas)!

With over 50,000 followers on Instagram, and having been featured everywhere from io9 to the Wall Street Journal, the Northern California photographer's work is immersive enough for the viewer to forget they are looking at hard plastic, as opposed to incredibly detailed cosplay or the work of a top tier special effects house.

Wu has even been tapped by the manufacturers of some of his subjects; having lended his talents to the photo campaigns for Hasbro, Sideshow, and others, and his work featured at this year's Comic Con International in San Diego.

"I've been a toy collector my whole life," says Johnny Wu. "I've always had a strong connection to toys, but it wasn't until I started taking photos of them that I felt that I was able to share how special they are. Ten Frames Per Second is my lifelong love of toys and photography coming to life. I never stopped being a kid, and I hope that my photos reach the inner kid in all of us."

"We were blown away by Johnny Wu's incredible photos the moment we saw them," says Dynamite CEO and publisher, Nick Barrucci. "His work immediately evokes a feeling, and it's no surprise that anyone who has seen it is as moved as we are by his incredible photos! We couldn't be more excited to publish his first art book here at Dynamite!"

"I did a double take when I first saw Johnny's photos," says Rich Young, Dynamite's Director of Business Development. "Some of them don't even look like action figures; they're more like stills from a movie! No wonder he's such a hit on Instagram. It's a pleasure to add this fun book to Dynamite's publishing schedule!"

Tentatively titled Ten Frames Per Second: An Articulated Adventure, the first collection of the photography of Johnny Wu (aka Sgt. Bananas) will be published in 2017, with further details on format, price, and release date to be announced in the coming months.
