Since I'm in an anally-retentive mood...

One small detail - Sonja is right-handed; but her sword is slung as if she were left-handed.

One huge (in more ways than one) detail; that axe is FAR to big and cumbersome to be any use in battle. At best you'd get one blow in - but then you'd get stabbed fifteen times while you're trying to pick the damn thing up again. Especially if (as the presence of the shield implies) you're trying to do it one-handed.

Yes, I KNOW this is fantasy, and that every action hero from Achilles to James Bond is shown doing some pretty improbable things - but sometimes a line can be crossed and you end up with something that's just silly.

    Or is it just me?

Eh, that sort of thing doesn't bother me. But I have to agree that there was a better selection of covers for posters.

The axe doesn't bother me, primarily because she's not actually wielding it - -it could even be a trophy from some dead frost giant.

What I do like about Cho's art, is that he can make Sonja look physically formidable while still sexy.

The Cho wraparound cover to issue 13? She's wielding someting pretty similar there.
